This week, for independent and experimental film night [2nd Thursday of the month], we’ll be screening a bonkers surrealist movie directed by Spike Jonze [Where The Wild Things Are, Her], and written by Charlie Kaufman [Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine], both making their feature film debut. The film stars John Cusack, Cameron Diaz, and Catherine Keener, with John Malkovich as a satirical version of himself.
Plot: Unemployed New York City puppeteer Craig discovers a portal that leads into the mind of renowned actor John Malkovich. When he lets his attractive co-worker Maxine in on the secret, they begin both an unusual business scheme and an odd relationship…
