Our week as part of POW 2019 was all be about Hedy! A programme including an exhibition, screenings, a themed party and a workshop/brunch to celebrate the many faces, gifts and powers of Hedy Lamarr, the Hollywood legend who also patented the Frequency Hopping technology, still used today in WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. And to talk about genius, beauty and women’s empowerment.

The exhibition featured Hedy’s story through 12 original illustrated collage boards telling the highlights of her life, her inventions and the unbelievable story of her life.
