The London based sax and drums pairing of Colin Webster and Andrew Lisle are quickly establishing themselves on the European avant-garde scene, both as a duo and working with a broad range of collaborators including Dirk Serries and John Dikeman. Their debut album as a duo ‘Firehouse Tapes’ was released on in 2015, followed by ‘Void Into Shape’, and ‘Live at De Singer’, in 2017.
Håla Duett is a duo with multiple influences. From kraut rock to African trance, from minimal music to pop melodies. Yann Joussein from Paris (drums/electronics) is involved in Collectif COAX label and plays with bands including Snap, Coax Orchestra, Sheik Anorak from Göteborg (guitar, vocals). They run Gaffer Records and play also with bands like Neige Morte, -1, Berget and more. Håla Duett are also experienced improvisers in shows that are unexpected and unique.
