In September 2019 we launched our Free Sunday Meals programme in collaboration with Margate Mantra Lounge, Hare Krishna Canterbury and Food For All UK, London. Everybody was welcome to walk in and either takeaway or eat a delicious, heart warming veggie meal with freshly baked naan bread and our home brewed masala chai in the lounge, followed by a guided musical meditation and an enlivening spiritual discussion. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon… The programme went on until March 2020, when our partners started a bigger project which led to 30,000 free delivered meals in Canterbury and Thanet up until now.
