Bohemia B.C., Paintings inspired by the Bohemians of London’s Fitzrovia

Come and lounge at Cliftonville’s very own boho den and check Chris’s latest paintings.

Following on from her previous exhibition of paintings informed by post-war Soho Bohemia, Margate artist Chris F Clark steps back to Fitzrovia, circa 1920’s and 30’s, to the period when London’s bohemian epicentre focused on drinking dens like The Fitzroy Tavern, packed with free-spirited artists, poets, socialites and sailors.

As before, the long-gone bohemian souls occupy the physical form of birds, a recurring theme that drives the artist’s work.

Doors open at 6pm
Bar with beer, cocktails and Italian wines; sourdough pizza with vegan and gluten-free options; teas and brews, all served till 10pm.
