Important update regarding this week’s Film Night!
We’re launching our Halloween Double Bill series with two shows at 7pm and 9pm, and not at 8pm, as usual.
- Film 1 – 7pm
“An ultra-zany story of rural couple, who accidentally get killed and witness a tasteless couple moving into their house, forcing them to hire a b’bio-exorcist’, is truly something else. With a new joke almost every minute, the movie never gets dull. And how about that soundtrack? ‘Day-O’ in the most morbid comedy ever? Yep, it’s all here. Great support, great production design, one of the coolest movies of the genre!”

- Film 2 – 9pm
An experimental comedy horror film… and we’re now officially full-on into the Halloween season!
“Hoping to find a sense of connection to her late mother, Gorgeous takes a trip to the country to visit her aunt at their ancestral house. She invites her six friends, Prof, Melody, Mac, Fantasy, Kung Fu, and Sweet, to join her. The girls soon discover that there is more to the old house than meets the eye.” Featuring evil cats, carnivorous pianos, haunted head-stealing watermelons etc.”
“It’s a slow-burner at the beginning, but once the set up is over the real fun begins and the crazy is poured out. The practical effects are a mix of 70’s haunted house horror and Vincent Price films. It’s not quite as theatrical as House on Haunted Hill, however the way the main characters are picked off Agatha Christie style is flat out hilarious. If you like movies like Clue, Evil Dead 2, and Cabin in the Woods, you need to watch this film!”
