Textile Club 13th October: How to Sew a Button

Sewing buttons saves clothes’ lives. It gives your favourite shirt, skirt or pair of trousers more time to spendf with you as your second skin. It reduces waste.
It’s an super nice activity that focuses your mind on tiny beautiful details, and makes all the stress vanish for a while. Makes your garment unique and each time you’ll tie that button, you’ll feel proud of your new skill.

Bring us your clothes that need fixing! Franca is eager help and show you how to sew buttons in different styles.

Or, bring your existing project, take part in the group blanket project, or learn with us. No previous experience needed! Some tools, supplies and, of course, buttons available.

4pm-8pm, before Film Night.
£4, refreshments included.
Family friendly (children don’t have to pay), pets very welcome!

The cafe serves teas, brews and homemade waffles from 4pm.
Sourdough pizza with vegan and gluten-free options from 7pm till 11pm
