“Imagine your neighbourhood’s ordinary windows transformed into something you’ve never seen before, a magical mystery tour where your streets become an outdoor gallery. Take a wander amongst these displays, see your community in a new light as all generations come together in a fun, creative way. A great way to foster community and new relationships between anyone with a window and and the rest of people.”
All windows were created on volunteer basis with love by The Booth, The Grain Grocer, Transmission Records, Cliffs, Magpies, Margate Arts Club and 101 Social.
Our Impromptu Shadow Theatre was a white canvas booth lit only from the inside where people were invited to walk in and perform for the passers-by, also using shapes and cut-outs we provided.
